The MSc (Master of Science) course in Energy, suits personnel from all types of industrial plants, power stations, production facilities, factories, etc,. and normally takes, on average, two to three years.
The Flexible Advanced Masters in Energy (FLAME) is a new concept in British postgraduate courses. It is built on the prinicple of maximum flexibility to ensure that you as a student will benefit most from it. The content ranges from the energy resources, through power generation, to energy use in industry and buildings. This can be combined with MBA business modules to provide training for recent graduates as well as for experienced and established engineers working in the industry or other organisations.
We have designed the course so that you can choose
- Full-time or part-time attendance or by distance-learning
- An MSc, a Postgraduate Diploma, a Postgraduate Certificate, and even individual modules.
- A mix of technical modules and business modules from the School of Business's MBA courseModules from a broad range of Energy-related subjects. Only two modules are compulsory. The remaining optional modules cover the theme areas of:
- Energy Resources
- Power generation
- Process Engineering
- Energy in Buildings
- The Environment
- Safety
Entry to the MSc in Energy programme is based on students having an honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
